This is my daughter Dana when she was a teen.  The other is Dana's birthday when she was three.  Now that she's a big girl, we live apart, so I'm celebrating her birthday, May 24th, online.  In honor of her big day, I've created this web site for her.

Dana's in California and I'm in Oregon, so I had to bake her a virtual cake for her birthday.

Mom and baby on Dana's very first birthday.

My boss used to invite us on his yacht when he took clients out for the Newport Beach Christmas boat parade.  He really liked Dana and let her come in and answer phones sometimes.

I wonder if Dana still has some of the memories I have, if she remembers the time we invited twenty of her Brownie friends for a sleep over for her birthday.  I set up a tent in the backyard and some of them were out there squealing and laughing, almost until dawn!

Here she is at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor for her 5th birthday.  Her Aunt Barbara was there to help us celebrate.

When Dana was 16, I rented a beach cottage for the weekend in San Diego to celebrate her birthday.  Afterwards we went to dinner and I snuck her and her friend into the nightclub to dance, since Dana loved to dance.

Happy Birthday to my big girl!!

We belonged to an Assemblies of God church when Dana was growing up.  Here we were attending the mother and daughter tea for Mother's day.
